TEOCO’s Dave Corley and Jim Hayden Named One of B/OSS’ Best Back-Office Innovators
Innovators recognized for success of TEOCO’s robust analytics platform
Fairfax, VA –March 3rd, 2011 – TEOCO Corporation, the market leader in Network Cost Management, Least Cost Routing, Revenue Management and Service Assurance solutions for communications providers worldwide, is pleased to announce the naming of Dave Corley and Jim Hayden as one of Billing and OSS World’s Best Back-Office Innovators. Dave Corley, Vice President, and Jim Hayden, Executive Director of Business Intelligence, were recognized for their instrumental role in developing TEOCO’s SONAR analytics platform which is on pace to help one Tier 1 North American operator triple their cost reductions for the year since implementing SONAR.
The operator needed to increase visibility into the call detail record data and get a better understanding of its subscriber and business information. Hayden and Corley found the savings they were looking for to the tune of more than $100 million since April of last year. Employing its massively parallel processing technology, SONAR reduced the time it took to produce reports, thus increasing their ability to plug holes and fix other inefficiencies. It also allowed the operator to better correlate, enrich and cost events in order to improve decision making.
